Bulk t-shirt printing in Australia

Bulk t-shirt printing at WowPrints starts at 25 pieces. One screen printing order runs from 25 to 10,000 or more pieces. The price per piece falls as the quantity rises, because screen setup is charged once per colour and spread across the run. Standard production takes 5 to 7 business days from artwork approval. Why the price per piece falls

Screen printing uses one screen for each ink colour. Each screen has a setup cost. That cost is charged once, then spread across the run. Twenty-five shirts is where screen printing becomes cheaper per piece than DTG printing. Above 100 pieces the gap widens sharply.

What sets the price of a bulk order

  • Quantity. The biggest lever. More pieces means less setup cost in each one.
  • Ink colours. Each colour adds a screen and a setup charge. One or two colours cost the least.
  • Print positions. Each position is a separate print with its own screens.
  • Garment. A cotton tee is the cheapest blank. Polos, hoodies, jackets, and hi-vis cost more before printing.
  • Turnaround. Standard turnaround costs less than rush.

Under 25 pieces

That is not a bulk order, and screen printing is the wrong method. DTG printing has no setup fee and no minimum.

Bulk t-shirt printing questions

Run size, lead time, colours, and artwork.

What does bulk t-shirt printing cost in Australia?
WowPrints quotes every bulk job. The price per piece falls as the quantity rises. Quantity, the number of ink colours, the number of print positions, and the garment set the final price. Send the brief and we reply within 1 business day with an exact price.
What counts as a bulk t-shirt order?
A bulk order starts at 25 pieces. That is the point where screen printing becomes cheaper per piece than DTG printing. Below 25 pieces, DTG printing costs less overall because it has no setup fee.
What is the largest t-shirt order you can print?
Screen printing at WowPrints runs from 25 to 10,000 or more pieces in one order. Every piece is printed at the Villawood factory in Sydney and inspected before it ships.

What is the cheapest print method for 100, 500, or 1,000 shirts?

Can you match Pantone colours on a bulk order?
Yes. Screen printing inks are mixed to your Pantone references, with up to 8 colours per design. Your artwork and colours stay on file, so every reorder matches.
