Custom gear for grassroots sporting clubs

From the under-9s to the seniors, the canteen volunteers to the rep squad — WowPrints kits out footy, netball, cricket, soccer and basketball clubs right across Australia, with no minimums and turnaround timed to round one.

Running a community sporting club is a labour of love. Somewhere between booking the ground, chasing registrations and rostering the canteen, someone — usually the president, the team manager or a parent volunteer who put their hand up at the AGM — ends up in charge of the kit. And kit is never simple: every player wants their name on the back, the new sponsor wants their logo "nice and big", the juniors need a size run from a tiny 4K right up to an adult 5XL, and the whole lot has to land before the first whistle of the season. We do this every week, so we have made it painless.

Whether you are ordering one rep jersey or kitting out an entire club, we match the right print method to each job so you are never overpaying — vinyl for the per-player names and numbers, DTG for the full-colour crest and the growing wall of sponsor logos, and sublimation when you want an all-over playing jersey with no print to crack or peel. Order exactly what you need, top up as new players sign on, and reorder the same artwork next season without paying setup again.

Player names and numbers — without the eye-watering cost

The single biggest worry club managers bring us is personalisation. You want every training top and playing strip to carry the player's name across the shoulders and their number on the back — but you have heard horror stories about being charged a fortune "per name". Here is the good news: with heat-transfer vinyl we cut each name and number individually and press it on, so personalising a 22-player squad is genuinely affordable. Each piece is its own little job, which means a late signing in round three costs the same per name as the players you ordered in February. No screens, no setup, no minimum.

Numbers come in your club's colours and a clean, sport-ready font, and we can run the whole grade with consistent placement so the team looks the part on photo day. If a player moves up a grade or a name changes, we just press a fresh one — you are never re-buying a whole garment for a single swap.

Full-colour club crests and multi-sponsor logos

Your crest is your identity, and local sponsors are the lifeblood that keeps registration fees down — so both need to look sharp. For detailed, full-colour club crests and a chest, sleeve or back full of sponsor logos, DTG printing is the workhorse. Because it is a direct inkjet process, there is no per-colour charge: a four-colour crest and a dozen different sponsor marks all print in one pass for the same price, with photographic detail and a soft finish that does not sit heavy on a training tee.

We will help you place and size every sponsor so the major backer gets pride of place and the minor sponsors still read clearly — on the chest, across a sponsor band, down the sleeves or on the back yoke. When the local hardware store re-signs or a new sponsor jumps on board mid-season, we simply update the artwork and reprint. Polos for the committee, training tops for the players and supporter tees for the families can all carry the same coordinated crest-and-sponsor layout so the whole club looks like one outfit.

All-over sublimated playing jerseys

When you want a genuine playing strip — edge-to-edge colour, club stripes that run seam to seam, numbers and names dyed right into the fabric — that is dye sublimation. Heat turns the ink into a gas that bonds with the polyester fibres themselves, so there is literally nothing on the surface to crack, peel or fade, no matter how many slides through the mud or trips through the wash a netball or footy season throws at it. The jersey breathes, the print weighs nothing, and the colour is permanent.

Sublimated kit is cut-and-sew, so you can have any colour layout you like — hoops, chevrons, fades, side panels — with player numbers and names built straight into the design. It suits soccer strips, basketball singlets, netball dresses, cricket playing shirts and footy guernseys equally well. Lead times are a little longer than a printed top, which is exactly why we nudge clubs to lock in their playing kit early in the pre-season.

Matching training, playing and supporter ranges

A club that looks unified plays unified. We help you build a coordinated range so everyone — on the field and on the sideline — is wearing the colours:

  • Training kit: breathable tees and singlets with the crest and a sponsor or two, ready for cold Tuesday-night sessions.
  • Playing strip: sublimated jerseys or printed tops with numbers and (optionally) names.
  • Club layer: polos and club hoodies for coaches, committee and the warm-up.
  • Supporter range: end-of-season supporter shirts, caps, bucket hats and tote or gear bags the whole family can grab.

Because we hold your crest and sponsor artwork on file, every layer carries the same branding and the same colours — and you can add a new line any time without starting from scratch.

Junior grade size runs, sorted

Grassroots clubs live and die by their juniors, and juniors come in every size. We are set up for size runs that span kids' 4K through to adult 5XL in the one order, so the under-7s and the senior reserves can wear matching gear. Hand us a sizing spreadsheet — or run a quick try-on with our size set — and we will collate the lot. Mixed-size orders are no problem and there is no minimum per size, so you are never forced to over-order a giant pile of XLs to hit a quantity.

Turnaround before round one

The deadline in club sport is not negotiable: the season starts when the draw says it starts. Tell us your round-one date and we will work back from it, flagging early which items (looking at you, sublimated jerseys) need the longest runway and which can come later. Get your artwork and sizes to us in the pre-season and your kit will be sorted before the first bounce, first serve or first ball. Leaving it late? Vinyl names and numbers, DTG crests and rush options can still save the day — just talk to us as soon as you can.

Built for footy, netball, cricket, soccer and basketball

We speak grassroots. AFL and rugby clubs come to us for guernseys, training singlets and supporter gear; netball clubs for dresses, bibs-friendly tops and club hoodies; cricket clubs for playing shirts, caps and the end-of-season trip merch; soccer clubs for full strips with sponsor backs; and basketball clubs for reversible-style singlets and warm-up tops. Whatever the code, the brief is the same — make the club look great, keep it affordable for the families, and have it ready on time. That is exactly what we do.

From a single rep player heading to state titles to a 200-strong club doing a full re-brand, there is no minimum and no order too small or too big. Send us your crest, your sponsor logos and a rough player list, and we will recommend the right garments and methods, free, with a quote back within one business day.
