What actually drives the price
Quantity
Quantity is the biggest lever. Screen printing carries a one-off setup cost per colour per screen, so that cost spreads thinner the more pieces you print. Twenty-five shirts is where screen printing usually becomes cheaper per piece than DTG. At 100 or more, the gap widens sharply.
Number of colours
Screen printing charges setup per colour, so a one-colour logo is far cheaper to set up than a six-colour design. DTG, DTF, and Supacolor print unlimited colours at no extra cost, which is why photographic and full-colour artwork is normally cheaper on those methods regardless of quantity.
Print method
Screen printing is the cheapest per piece at volume. DTG is the cheapest way to order small runs because it has no setup fee and no minimum. Embroidery is priced by stitch count rather than colour count, so a small logo is inexpensive and a large dense design costs more.
Garment choice
The blank itself is part of the price. A basic cotton tee is the cheapest starting point. Polos, hoodies, jackets, and hi-vis workwear cost more before any printing happens. We print on premium AS Colour blanks across all garment types.
Print positions
Each additional print location is a separate print. A front-only design costs less than front, back, and sleeve. On screen printing, every position needs its own screens.
